Triangle is an intimate epic, journeying through questions of faith, responsibility and desire.

In an original mystery/romance set against the backdrop of an infamous New York tragedy, two couples from different eras—in 1911 a Jewish seamstress and her Italian foreman, in 2011 a graduate student and a free-spirited stranger—discover what it means to risk everything you have and everything you believe for love.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre presented our original musical Triangle as part of their 24th Annual Festival of New Musicals in October. This was a great opportunity for us to share our show with theater professionals from New York and around the country. The cast included Bryce Ryness (Godspell, Hair), Wayne Wilcox (Chaplin), Adam Heller (Caroline or Change, Merrily We Roll Along), Margot Siebert, Dana Steingold, and Carrie Cimma.

Triangle Musical Chosen for Workshop at TheatreWorks

New Works Festival at Theatreworks

We're very excited that Triangle has been selected for this summer’s TheatreWorks New Works Festival in Palo Alto, one of the premiere developmental opportunities for new musicals. During an intensive two week workshop, Triangle will receive three public staged readings (August 12, 16 & 18) directed by Meredith McDonough and featuring an amazing cast of New York and Bay Area actors.

Trickybox collaborators Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore are extremely honored to have been selected to receive a 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant in recognition of their theatrical work, including the new musicals Triangle and The Legend of Stagecoach Mary. Administered by the American Theatre Wing, the Larson Grant is dedicated to honoring emerging talent and infusing the music theatre community with new work. The songwriting team’s music was featured at the Grant Presentation Event, March 17, 2009 in New York City.

Triangle selected to be presented at The O'Neill Center

Following a commission from Williamstown in 2005, Triangle, the new romantic musical by Curtis Moore and Thomas Mizer, was selected as one of only two new works presented at the 2006 National Music Theater Conference. Under the direction of Robert Longbottom (Sideshow), this original, full-length piece received a two-week workshop and four public readings (beginning July 22) at the prestigious Eugene O’Neill Center in Waterford, Connecticut.
